Come on the Tour
We would welcome you to join us on our tour:

Who can become a Lardie

Absolutely anyone. There is no application form or joining fee, the individuals who become Lardies or honorary Lardies have to be up for a laugh, not take themselves too seriously and have a desire to help worthy causes.

The only fixed rule is that each Lardie gets allocated a puerile nickname. Paul for example was Farmer Lardie as he spoke with a Welsh accent and had fiery red cheeks which looked as though he had spent 8 hours on a combine getting the harvest in!

We have "Double Decks Lardie". Dave once let out he had been a DJ in Denmark. Another is Grandpa as he looks 60 but is actually only 41. Our first female rider is Barbie Lardie……we have Lazy Lardie, Slap head Lardie… and Tub O'Lardie….you get the idea!

We have a blind Lardie, Hawkeye. Steve Cunningham currently holds two world records as the fastest blind man to travel on land and sea. At present he is also learning to fly, although thankfully he will not get his pilots licence by October so he won't be flying us out to Egypt!

Our targets

A financial target, hopefully our endeavours will generate some much-needed funds for a worthwhile cause. Our target is to raise £50 000.

Our second target is to inspire others so that that they can take up a challenge and provide not only funds for whatever cause they choose to support but also to create friendships and provide lasting memories for those that participate.
